Brainwash was founded in 2024 by YouTuber, game designer, and ex-Google software engineer Will Kwan. In college, he spent all his free time making bad games like Frantic Architect. Then he gave up gamedev because he thought it was too hard to make money. After spending 7 years building a few small software startups, making videos about life, and working in tech, he wanted to build deeper experiences for a broader audience.
